He's a skillful player who suffered from a lack of consistency and a slew of injuries. And I do think those two things are related. I think he's a player who you have to accommodate for, but the amount he's played in the Championship and at international level shows there's something about him, in addition to him being a lovely bloke. 

To be fair to him at L2 level he’s added goals to his game, he’s scored 15 in the league during his two years at Swindon.

He’s also decided to play for Neil Harris and turned down Mark Hughes.
