Comments

  • 44' A delay while Sinclair receives treatment after he was caught by Dijksteel. No foul given and so Eastwood puts the ball out. #OUFC 2-1 #CAFC

  • I was going to predict a 3-2 win based on nothing more than the fact that neither team conceded many goals. No logic there.
But actually Oxford are safe and have nothing to lose, and we need a win to stay in the hunt for automatics. Sounds like a good game, and we’re on top with 57% possession.
  • 44' Break in play while Sinclair receives treatment, although he rolled back on the pitch to ensure play would stop. #oufc 2 #cafc 1
  • 45+1 Three minutes added... #oufc 2 #cafc 1
  • Oh well we are a 2nd half team
  • Need to get a leftie on at LB!!

Solly is getting murdered out there for that reason
  • As we approach half time, I genuinely think we’ve been the better team. The ref has been appalling and they’ve score two wonder goals. Still time to turn it around but the supporters need to lift the team badly.
  • 45'+2'

Attempt blocked. James Henry (Oxford United) right footed shot from outside the box is blocked.

  • Ref has almost been, well I have given you a penalty, that is all you're getting.

  • Started brilliantly, but as the half has gone on, we have looked less dangerous.

Oxford scored a fantastic free kick and Bauer lost his man for the corner, not a lot more than that.

We have played well overall, but we can't panic.

    We can turn this around.
  • HT 2-1
  • HALF-TIME: #OUFC 2-1 @CAFCofficial. It looked ominous for United when Taylor's early penalty gave Charlton the lead, but two set-piece goals from Nelson and Garbutt turned it around to give United the advantage at the break.

  • Vetokele missing, can’t play 41212
Purrington missing, been exposed down that left side constantly

You can play ONE of Williams or Reeves on the wing, using both makes us too slow on the break.

Sarr on, Parker on, go 41212 and we will smash these.

Got three goals in a half last week... Only need two this time
  • A Lutonesque second half please boys!!!!
    COYR
  • Sarr must come on at left back. Reeves is useless, maybe risk Morgan there after 60.

Good call on Sarr. Poor old Solly is having a nightmare at left back today.

  • Purrington is one of those players who only looks average but as soon as he is out of the side you realise how important he is.
Bring on Sarr for solly 2nd half and we can still win this.
  • Divine retribution for slagging off Karl...
  • Ht....can't believe we are losing first 20 all us...our fans give robinson some stick....I scream no don't 1-1....from a corner centre half unmarked to score. ..5 mins later and the ref giving everything to them give em a free kick 25 out. Phillips decides to show him 3/4 of the goal to shoot at...he duly obliges for his 1st goal of the season....don't look like getting back in the game

  • Bowyer needs to work his half time magic. Sounds like this is still ours to win but need to make some changes.
  • Not convinced with the formation,  only 1 up top yet being swamped in midfield. Reeves having a poor game, Williams not much better
  • Completely agree we need balance in defence and the first time this calendar where we haven't, first time we have conceded more than one.

We desperately miss Igor though, hopefully he is okay for Monday.
  • HAPPY EASTER!!!!
  • Don't deserve to be losing, have clearly been the better side.
  • In Lord Bowyer we trust , to turn things around in the second half , like last week.

Been nothing wrong with the ref whatsoever.
