edited April 2019 in General Charlton
Listen live via our website here - http://www.charltonlive.co.uk/listen-live/ or if that doesn't work, via the tune in website here - https://tunein.com/radio/Charlton-Live-s268151/ - or via the Tune In app on your mobile phone/tablet.

Join us at 7pm or via the podcast afterwards as we get ready to look back at the win over Gillingham. We'll hear the highlights of the game and also hear Lee Bowyer's full post-match interview. We'll discuss the upcoming play-off campaign and also the fact that the wait goes on for the club to tie down Lee Bowyer on an extended contract.

We'll be asking you a few things as well
- Who would you like to face in the play-offs?
- What do you make of the situation with Bowyer's contract?
- Bowyer had some harsh words for Tariqe Fosu and Mark Marshall yesterday - (londonnewsonline.co.uk/lee-bowyer-cas…) - do you think they have done enough to earn a new contract?

Even the Charlton Live crew are getting on the act and starting to rest people for the play offs.

Yesterday was a stroll with Gillingham barely threatening a shot against us. Aribo and Cullen showed their class throughout but big credit to Pratley and Lapslie who came in and both played really well.

Happy to play anyone in the play offs and I am confident we can beat anyone over two legs. Portsmouth for logistical and cost reasons.

Absolutely ridiculous that Bowyer hasn’t been offered a proper contract.

Marshall has failed to deliver in the last two seasons, he’s given his or all but just simply isn’t good enough at Right Wing and probably 3/4th choice right back isn’t needed.Still hoping Fosu will get another year as their is definitely a player in there and it might mean there’s not enough budget to keep Josh Parker.

Bowyer & his team have been treated disrespectively & need/deserve to be offered good deals ASAP - hopefully when they sign you will see some of the players commit to contracts as well. This does require the Belguim to realise he will have to pay the going rate for these people or we will lose them.
Dont want to play Sunderland in the playoffs due to the travelling distance but would be happy to play them at a Wembley final. Think with a fit squad & a decent referee we can beat anyone & get promoted.
Has been great this season to see the fans & team pulling together & just hope the current feel good factor isn’t ruined by a loss in the play offs or lack of investment in the coaches & team.

    - Who would you like to face in the play-offs?

Don't care. We're in good form and, being realistic, have been resigned to the play-offs for some time. The other teams will either be disappointed that they've missed out on the autos or, in the case of Donny/Posh (probably Donny), would be in the same position as us last year having only clinched their spot in the final weekend. We've nothing to fear, we can beat all of them.

    - What do you make of the situation with Bowyer's contract?

Shambles. Only to be expected with this short-term regime. Lord Bowyer should be able to name his terms given the miracles he's worked this year.

    - Bowyer had some harsh words for Tariqe Fosu and Mark Marshall yesterday, do you think they have done enough to earn a new contract?

No, and No. In that order.

    In Lord Bowyer we trust.

Evening gents. Good win yesterday. Think we'll finish 5th and Sunderland in play-offs. Portsmouth at Wembley and win that. As for Bowyer, think Roland is waiting for outcome of play-off before contract situation is resolved, bit of a worry. As for the takeover, who knows. Best Wishes. Gary Cooper from Woolwich.
