Harry used to be a talented cricketer too but it was always going to be his second sport - and a distance behind at that. I gather that James has been playing for virtually all his time with us in the same team as his older brother which is quite an achievement given he is a keeper.
Dad and Mum are both tall so neither boys are likely to fail the infamous height test!

Think we've all just learnt Doucher's source!!
no - but one of my 'sources' got Harry the trial at Charlton which led to James also getting taken on - lovely family and as someone says later on, both parents very tall so that shouldn't be a problem

I've got another mate who's son has been at Chelsea since he was 8 - spurs, arsenal, Chelsea all wanted him, Charlton didn't (he lives in Sidcup) and he has been trekking round to Cobham ever since. He is a year older than James and plays for England as well as Chelsea now and has a £6k a week plus add ons contract offer on the table - we missed out there.

Possibly yes........but in reality we'd have spent 8 years on his footballing education and then at 16 he'd have left for Chelsea anyway. We don't even pay that for some of our first team players.

If Roland gets wind of this he'll probably hear the cash till ring in his head before he even asks who the lad is.
Well done James.
