Lord Bowyer's second Manager of the Month award and nominated a further three times ... not a bad return in a nine-month season.
His other win came in November and was immediately followed by two defeats at the start of December (the first of those in the FA Cup). We then won three in a row, starting with a victory at Fratton Park.
Is that an omen for May: lose tomorrow, lose first leg of play-off at home to Pompey, win second leg, win at Wembley ... ?0 -
In light of this accolade, Roland has improved Lee's choice of company car offered in his new contract from a Hillman Imp to a green Capri.
