I class these comments as valid reasons and not excuses, especially being dead which may present it s difficulties.

    All acceptable excuses.

Or you're Cambridge and can't get a ticket.

True, but does that mean the phrase 'no excuses' applies to every situation?

You do know that footballs are no longer made of leather, don't you? (That's a joke, by the way!)
    I salute your continued boycott.

Who is this randomer to tell us what is or isn't a good reason when they don't know individual situations?

  • Shuddering with fear at the time it will take to visit the gents at half time
Oh god thought of so many issues about the game cant believe I didn't consider this one. Many many years ago you could just pee up against the outside wall when they were full. Maybe not such a good idea tonight. Other ideas???

Was surprised it was that low given we were told it was a home sell out and we had fans in the JS stand.

Unless i've miscalculated the 3 home stands is about 23,800 + 1k home fans in the away end............Doncaster surely had more than 600 fans there?

I believe some tickets were held back in the JS stand to act as a buffer in case the ticketing system wasn't 100% accurate.

    Wise move.

That will top last night's attendance of 25702 at The Hawthorns!
And I remember them singing 'shit ground no fans' to us when the attendance was over 12,000, which was similar to theirs in the day.

Not that i hold a grudge.
