You have to wonder if it was deliberately well written so that it's clear that it wasn't from RD. The comms team have no reason to support RD given that, according to him, they are one of the main reasons his experiment hasn't worked.

A supportive team would have put in a few "euro-mistakes" to make it authentic. The fact that they did't speaks volumes.
