Don’t think Donny will sell anymore than 8,000 for their home game and i would think at best sell 1,500 for the game at ours.
Do we know how many Donny have been allocated? Have they been given the whole JS stand or being phased in depending on demand?
Would be great to see so many CAFC fans that the JS stand gets split between us and them, how it used to be in the Prem days when there were low away turnouts. Jumping the gun a bit I know but hoping the club are at least considering this depending on sales both home and away.

Demand took some of you off guard hasn’t it? We ain’t a small club and if we get to Wembley we will easily sell our allocation.
I'll admit it has, though I think some people are getting ahead of themselves with talk of a sellout. I reckon low 20s, which is still good. Regarding Wembley, if we get there, I'm not so sure. Did we sell out in 1998? The Sunderland fans that day thought that we hadn't, but information was harder to come by in those days.
I think we sold out but they got a slightly bigger allocation, but that is just from memory which could be wrong
Correct. On the Saturday before the play-off final the club wouldn’t open the ticket office for what was left so @rockspectacle and I volunteered to sell the last of the tickets - mostly Olympic Gallery - from one of the plastic ticket offices in Harvey Gardens.
Charlton’s sales were impacted by the need to stop Sunderland fans buying our tickets in the days before the club had much of a database. But we did sell out, give or take a handful of top price tickets.
I went to the Valley today for Doncaster home tickets, but the ticket office was closed. There was a steady stream of people doing the same. In the foyer the general consensus was probably about lack of clarity and confusion and difficulties and glitches and restrictions. Finally sitting in the lobby on the telephone, with help of another member using the website we got our group of nine, not at all where we would want to be in the East Stand, but in the East Stand anyway...they might have been available because I suspect they are obstructed view (if so I'll simply stand). So there is definite desire by people to get tickets, the issue seems to be the awkward practicalities of getting them, especially in a larger group. I can well believe that 17k have been sold by now.

Surely just asking them to speak would have identified the Mackems at the ticket office window.

Absolutely, I mean all Man Utd fans come from Manchester don't they? 😯
We had to fight in our end with the Mackem infiltration when they scored their 3rd goal . . . Cuffs were going on just as I looked over my shoulder to see Rufus equaliser . . . 11 year old son had to find his own way home from Wembley. . . . 🙃

Is it only me that thinks selling 1,160 out of 3,800 tickets before we even get to regular season ticket holders = there is no way this is getting to general sale?
I predict they will all be gone by end of play tomorrow.
