What is happening with our support for this game is really quite incredible. That’s around 600-700 South Stand tickets sold since 5pm.
I’m convinced if our ground was bigger and better availability had been there over the last five days, we’d be looking at a crowd with 30k plus Charlton supporters in the ground. I’m not fully convinced we would have bettered this when in the Premier League.
Just caved in to the little man and got us seats in the Jimmy Seed. No print at home/scan from home for that stand though so let’s just assume we’ll miss the first 10-minutes because of Rolunds horrendous understaffing and general shitness
Or you could collect the tickets nice and early ?
1,000 seats in blocks D,E,F,K and L will become available in The Valley's south stand, which is usually exclusively reserved for visiting supporters.
Once those tickets are sold, it will mean that well over 24,000 Addicks will pack out the stands at Friday’s big game. The remaining seats in the previously-closed block of the West Stand were due to go on sale on Monday, but were snapped up by internal sales, including family and friends of playing and coaching staff, leading to the decision being made to open up the Jimmy Seed Stand to home supporters for the first time since 2012.
Jimmy Seed stand tickets will not be able to be printed at home or sent via the post and must be collected from the Valley's Ticket Office which will reopen at 9am on Wednesday morning. If tickets remain, they will also be available to purchase in person from the Ticket Office.
Supporters who are attending Friday evening's match are reminded to leave plenty of time to enter the ground due to the higher-than-usual attendance and are also urged to avoid bringing bags, if possible, to ease security checks upon entrance.
East Stand ticket holders should be aware that there will be no entrance available via Landsdowne Mews and must enter the ground via the East Stand Harvey Gardens turnstiles.
The Landsdowne Mews entrance will be reserved for home fans in the Jimmy Seed Stand.
Not really by the time I’ve finished work and then gotten al the way home to collect him and then turn around to get back to the valley but hohum these things are meant to test us eh...
If Mick Everett wasn’t still there to explain how to do this, the JS stand wouldn’t be open to Charlton fans. Well done, Mick.
We may struggle to get to 26,000 because of the shortfall in Donny sales plus the segregation, but after five years of nonsense it’s a huge statement of support for the club by fans. We’ll basically have double the crowd for Shrewsbury last year.

Playing a league one team that is only bringing just over 1k fans for what is basically a cup match when we were in the PL we would have struggled to get 20k in the ground and only if the tickets had been a tenner

Is there anyone without a season ticket who should worried about possibly not getting a PO Final ticket should we make it??????
Is that enough to be more than Crystal Palarse’s largest gate this season; and
more than Sunderland v Pompey in the play off match ?
bragging rights is everything .
Ha ha yeah they just finished 12th in the premier league and won away at Man city and Arsenal but i bet they'll be losing sleep tonight over us selling out a league one play off match.

Probably don't even look for our result now and 100 % give no shits.
Just like we did when we were in prem and they were nearly in administration and being relegated.
Why have the club stopped giving out official numbers, we used to get a 5pm update each day?
Did you get a ticket Mike
No, I never tried

I hope that at some point during the game, a chorus of “We want Roland out” is sung from all corners of the ground.
Nah!. Leave it to after the final whistle. Max focus on supporting the team during the game. Would then get max exposure when the game is over. I'm sure the commentators will pick up on it in a positive way.

Plus back then we obviously had some fans who just had tickets to watch cheap premier league football, now we can at least say the fans are there because they want to watch Charlton. Great effort.

12th in the PL and they are still not the biggest club south of the river in London and they only come close because the other PL teams bring loads of fans with them and this Friday night, only around 1k will be in our ground that will have made the effort because of the opposition

Been a long time since I’ve had ‘that feeling’ supporting Charlton. Sending out a huge well done to each and everyone one that has bought a ticket for this match, truly astounding figures taking all the years of crap in to consideration, brilliant effort! Gutted work prevents me from coming down
So wt great f is going on this year. We all still want him out but the few games I have seen, been at heard about on CL the support has been amazing.
I think LB and JJ are factors. I think the team performances have helped. We still all hate the regime, no doubt. I do think something else, all positive has gone on for the game on Friday night. Sorted out train times ( proppa Charlton) got me ticket (thx Paul). Buzzing for Friday night, drink ear kkk y get there early and fkin enjoy. If someone sings a pro team anti Roland song after we have won I'm there.
Roland out but COYR.
