Away following (outside the m25)

Apart from the 3 FA Cup quarter finals, when else have we taken nearly 4k away outside the m25 in living memory?

Blackburn in the relegation season from the prem?  I remember sitting in the Ipswich "home" end when I couldn't get an "away" ticket but doubt that was that many.

'You'll never get a ticket' at the final whistle, flowed by a hail of missiles just outside the ground.

Was that what I always call "the Ricky Otto" game?  I think we lost 4-2 and Keith Jones scored for them, boxing day?

Ipswich and Wolves - both in the FA Cup. About 7,000 went to Portman Road, and over 10,000 at Molineux.

Manure 'You're worse than Crystal Palace' at half time notwithstanding it was an FA Cup QF.

How many would we have been given at Villa for the 4-3 game?

1994 at Man Utd was about 10k.

The two midweek cup games at Anfield in the 90s were pretty big as well.

Yeah my old man crashed the car on the way home. Hit another Charlton supporter car, who literally lived 50 yards from us.

I went to both of those and my face was on MotD after I had phoned in sick for work :-)

    92 people isn't a particularly big crowd.
    He meant 92,000.
