Sydney Pubs For The Play Off Final

Hi there

Sadly I cannot make it back to Wembley for the final, & I'm wondering if anyone knows of any Sydney pubs that will be showing the game?

There are no listings for the game on Optus Sport, & the 24/7 Sports Bar At The Star has nothing either.

I don't really fancy risking a dodgy stream, nor do I have a VPN. 

If anyone knows of a venue, & is going, & maybe fancies a meet-up for the game, let me know.

    Just come back from 4 years in Sydney and the place to watch any Football other than Casino is Cheers bar in the City centre. 
    They used to show absolutely anything and at any hour. 
    My cousin is there and will be desperate to watch it, I'll ask if he knows anywhere if cheers aren't.

    Normally all the Sky Sports coverage will be shown on Fox sports in Oz. Cheers bar are showing the Champ play off final, so I should imagine they will stick ours on.

    Best of luck - I was in Cairns for the last play off final and watched on 1 day delay - still a brilliant memory but very happy to be able to attend this one in person

    21 years since i was there for a year (left for Oz shortly after the last Sunderland play off final) but Coogee Bay Hotel was the place way back then.  Sports bar packed full of UK backpackers. Maybe worth checking out.

    Stayed in Vicar St just behind The Coogee Bay hotel for a bit in 90. The locals used to call it the goldfish bowl.

    Showing Villa v Derby according to their website. Hopefully they'll stick us on the day before?

    I had a look at the Cheers site & they said something about demand for events, so maybe if a few people call them, they may end up showing it.(I shall buzz them later too.)

    Maybe we can enlist a few Sydney Mackems to do the same!  Or I may ring up & enquire in their accent as well, haha!

    Notice they don't list it though but nothing clashing at 12am for it.  I know a few Charlton in Sydney so will let them know.
