My issue with this kit is I just don't think it will look as nice when a bunch of out of shape blokes like us start to put it on.
That's true of every football kit
Nonsense.
This new away strip looks so good that I might even get the full kit. Turning up at the Rose pre-match resplendent in shirt, shorts and socks, I'm sure to look the dog's.

Wearing a club shirt is the modern equivalent of wearing a scarf back in the day. It defines you as a fan. It is annoying, cruel and embarrassing that it so starkly exposes every belly, man-boob and any other hideous defect of age and excess. Make mine an XXXL

No?
B*lll*ks or dinner?
That would of course be a subjective judgement. For me it would be the dog's bollox, for all the others, perhaps, they would settle on the alternative.
I like the design, I just have an issue with grey kits, great in the Premier League where floodlights are brighter than daylight, less so in League 1 where they are shit.
Didn't the old grey kit go to early grave as it was so hard to see under lights?
I do wonder if they actually match tested it, I know the Premier League when they did their rebrand a few years back, scraped the new shirt font after it failed in a couple of test games, so they wore the old numbers with the old PL branding for another season to get it right.
Replies to this from non-Charlton fans are really positive, lots of fans saying it is the nicest shirt they've seen so far this year... not just us that thinks Hummel are smashing it!
Mate of mine reckons he's heard the third kit will be brown. Was a bit horrified at first, but did a search for brown Hummel kits, and this actually isn't bad

so long as the shorts are dark as well that will work just fine money no object I could see myself buying all 3

Someone I know spoke to a guy from the club shop who told them about the away and third kit. He was spot on with the away one so should imagine would be right with the third. He was told it will be royal blue

Maybe I'm just jealous at how good the professional footballers look in it.

The new EFL typeface is going to take some getting used to... not keen on it myself (no fault of CAFC or Hummel of course)
