Seeing as there is a wealth of knowledge on here. Can anyone recommend somewhere to eat in Hackney Central?
TripAdvisor is a waste of time..

    Hackney seitan is good for a quick meal. But it is just sitting at a bench outside.

    Go to Dalston there's loads of good Turkish places by Dalston Kingsland Station.

    Or do want something more formal?

    If you're up that way then definitely go Turkish. It's a different level from the Turkish restaurants we get this side of the water.

    Nothing fancy but very good food. There's plenty more decent ones round there though.

    The Anatolia is my favourite I have driven over from Bexley many times over the years to eat there. It's one of the originals and a pub virtually next door.
