He might have some sort of condition. A lot of people do. I don't understand comments like that. Or do you think we can get him sectioned and own the club collectively?!
What a load of crap. Nothing new there. JW trying to put words into his mouth when RD doesn't answer the questions as usual . How close are you to selling the club. No reply from RD and avoids the question. JW is absoultetly crap.
Jim White very keen to hear from Charlton fans, and now saying that if we’re still complaining after what’s been said, then he doesn’t know what goes!
Erm because Roland is still here...
But no lets celebrate because he's still "trying" to sell the club... that would be like me telling everyone I'm going to be a parent for the first time after being told Im not infertile!!
Paraphrasing the interview because I can't type fast enough:
Are you happy to have reached a compromise? Two objectives, sign Lee Bowyer and maintain the ability to sell the club. His agent was proposing things that would increase the liability to the club and make it harder to sell.
Is it true his Agent asked for 6 times salary of last season? They formed an agreement that was very good for him but also an agreement that doesn't increase liability to the club.
Has a lot changed since yesterday? If you are the owner of the club you have different objectives. On one hand I want to keep Lee on the other I want to sell the club. I'm happy I've combined both.
It's obvious the desire to sell the club at the back of your mind. Does keeping Lee making it easier? The main problem for all the owners of clubs in the championship is that the average loss of clubs that are funded by rich owners is £1k per season ticket holder.
£15m a year average loss in Championship, will Charlton be one of them? Yes, we lose money. The problem is the FFP which is poorly managed, collective craziness and the problem is with the EFL to not contain the losses and limit the expenses on players. Of course the players don't have to care about the owners of the club. Owners need to get together and say we don't want to lose money. The EFL should be a key actor in doing that. That's why I wanted to sell the club to EFL because they're not doing their job properly.
How close are you to selling? That's what I really want.
Are we talking days or weeks? Unclear but certainly not days. Now we are back in the Championship there is lots of interest. It's not such an easy thing to sell a club. Lots of clubs have sold in the last decade, but that means for every new owner there is someone that wants to get out.
You've kept Bowyer to keep money down and keep the attractiveness? Yes, that's what I've done.
Roland, the fans want you out. Everyone is going to get their own way? Yes, I hope so.
Jim White back to the studio. 'You can't get much clearer than that'.
Jim White now having a pop at Charlton fans for saying that's a weak interview. Asking for people to phone in...
Clickbait twat!!... thats all White is, not a real journalist but a bloke who simply gets listeners to tune in to listen to crap, no better than some of the YouTube stars you get these days!!
JW How is that closest to the door as ever? You got nothing out of him. Did RD say he has agreed a Sale? No? You put words in his muth by saying "You must be closer to a sale now.. ". He did not answer it properly but said "well... it is one obstacle.. and then went on about how difficult I is selling a club". Does JW ever listen to his own interviews??
I was previously willing to give Jim White the benefit of the doubt in these situations as Roland would effectively show himself up in numerous interviews regardless of what he is asked.
However, White saying that we should be happy because Roland says he wants out is wide of the mark. He knows full well that Roland has been saying this for two years and has gone nowhere.
So apologies Jim if we don’t think now is the ‘time to party’, knowing full well our manager has likely been given a deal well below what he derserves and also knowing full well we could be in the SAME situation again in 12 months time.
I actually understand his point on keeping the prized asset (Bowyer) without creating a big liability in the books. But where JW get his “it’s as close as ever to being sold” from is beyond me Roland didn’t say that at any point.

RD: Huh? Huh? Huh? Huh?
Jim digging out our supporters for moaning about him on twitter

Bob Mills doing a house analogy was app.
Apparently someone called Phil on twitter has got under his skin.
Let them have it.
Jim White sounds rattled. He's an idiot.
