Phone sleep mode help

I've been trying to find a solution but have failed miserably. Can anyone help?

I currently have a Huawei P20.

Over the past few weeks when in sleep mode (I think that's what you call it?) it starts displaying screenshots I've saved on my phone on some sort of slow loop.
 It's not the lock screen because it jumps to that when I pick the phone up.
Slightly annoying. For instance it started displaying a hotel receipt I'd saved with all my details on it. Not the kind of thing I want all and sundry to see if I leave my phone sitting on my desk!

As I say, I don't think this is classed as the lock screen and I can find settings for that. 
It's when it's in sleep/ hibernation mode that's doing my nut in and I can't find any settings for that.

Any help would be appreciated.

    No idea how that phone works, but sounds like some kind of wallpaper photo slide show? No wallpaper settings in photos?

    Got the same phone as you. Have been very impressed with mine.

    Googled wallpaper and in gallery there is an option for live gallery 

    You can also open “”“Gallery”, touch and hold an image, and then touch “> Set as > Wallpaper”. Follow the onscreen instructions to set the image as the wallpaper. 
    ● Shake your phone to change the wallpaper: Turn on the “Shake to change” switch. The wallpaper will change every time you shake your phone. Turn on the “Random change” switch, and then set “Interval” and “Album to display”. Your phone will automatically change the wallpaper at the specified time interval.

    Throw it against the wall and buy another phone.

    Go to settings, type screen saver in the search bar, turn to off, problem solved.

    Just tested on my fiancé's P20

    It's weird how Xiaomi has dropped off the radar and is barely seen here while Huawei (weirdly marketed here with the pronunciation "Wah-way") has come from nowhere a year ago to be a top seller

    My understanding is that Huawei has actually researched and designed it's own phones whereas XM might have had a little snoop at some fruit based products, making things quite difficult outside of the middle kingdon.

    You have to ring China and ask to speak to the government agent that's been assigned to monitoring your Huawei device. He can switch that off for you and answer any questions.

    When I called about an issue I was having with my Huawei a few weeks back, my guy was really very helpful. He knew what the problem was before I even called! We got on so well we talked almost thirty minutes. At one point, he said: "Hang on. Let me look at what we have on Wendy." I don't even know how he knew my wife's name! But he was able to look at her text messages with her new work colleague Alex, her location data over the past two weeks, and a few of her recent purchases. From just that, he was able to tell me that she has a thing for motel architecture (apparently, she'd been to visit one particular motel near her office four times in the past week), prefers Victoria's Secret over Ann Summers, and he even suggested a few emojis that he predicted would really get her going. What a service. I was bit nervous, as I stood outside Room 203 of the Travel Inn, not knowing how she'd respond, or whether she'd even be there. Sure enough, you should have seen the look on her face when she opened the door to see me standing there, holding a red sheer teddy, dressed as a giant aubergine, carrying a squirt gun. Alex looked shocked too!
    LOL.  He actually called me to get it sorted.

    He's also ordered me a lawnmower off my Amazon account because he saw the pictures of my garden and thought it looked a bit tatty!
