Passed away today.
Great musician.
I really liked his music and the effect it had on South Africa.

    I listened a lot to his music when I was growing up.

    Lived in Zimbabwe in the eighties, his band Juluka was very big then. Great live act with African dance moves.

    Managed to see him live twice once in Cape and the other at the Albert Hall, where he had a broken leg, he still managed to bounce around the stage. A great live performer and an amazing ambassador for change in SA, he’ll be sorely missed. RIP White Zulu

    RIP - enjoyed his stuff, I think Scatterlings of Africa was the first African record I bought. He didn't just borrow from township styles, he immersed himself in them.
