No Sponsor on the front makes it look a really good design and certainly agree with what Paddy says:
Paddy Power MD, Victor Corcoran, said: “Shirt sponsorship in football has gone too far. We accept that there is a role for sponsors around football, but the shirt should be sacred.
Rudnick has got this the exact opposite of right. He couldn't be wronger. The 'marks' are the all too willing and complicit victims in the stunt. Marketing stunts like this are splendid for exposing the half wits and obsessively offended. Trouble is they've become such an easy target, flying into hysterical rage at the slightest imagined provocation. FWIW the terriers' new kit is stylishly restrained, shame KG gets to pose in it this season and not Charlton red and white (and black and a bit of gold and...)
I think our home shirt without the sponsor would look terrific.
Just not sure on it with the black text sponsor.
We should have put the sponsor in a white band across the front of the kit, would have stood out more and they can then claim the shirt is more closely linked to the Woolwich pinstriped kit
There are rules and regs about sizing of adverts on shirts. Paddy Power will simply pay any fine that Huddersfield get in exchange for the phenomenal amount of exposure that this has generated.
Clever marketing. Hideous shirt though
There's no such thing as bad publicity, but surely this will cause resentment towards PP?
- Around 20 minutes ago, Huddersfield announce a new shirt sponsor: a debt recovery firm with a vocally pro-Trump Twitter presence - What you'd expect - Around 5 minutes ago, Huddersfield delete the tweet and presumably the sponsor. Great work lads
Blimey just had a look at some of their tweets. Probably not a wise idea to be using the company twitter handle to post your personal opinions, whether I agree with them or not (I don’t).

I do think Paddy Power are very funny on Twitter.
