went for a lovely 6.30 a.m. stroll .. n'er a cloud in the sky, smooth and cool breeze blowing from the south, birds chirping their early morning calls .. made me feel almost Wordsworthish lol .. when the midday sun comes on too hot, I'll be taking advantage of the shade from my cherry and apple trees whilst pondering the beauty of the universe .. It's an arduous and tough life being (semi) 'retired' .. carry on all ye loyal toilers, your rewards will come later when work is done.. be sure to oil up, take on copious amounts of liquid and wear a suitable titfer tat ((:>)

You went for a 6.30am stroll with a semi? Assume @da@DaveMehmet was with you.
On my way from East Midlands to work in London today, around Liverpool St, looking forward to the sights. I remember back in the day....Hot Pants and Mini Skirts.....think today will be enjoyable!!
Think of us, I own a Refrigeration company who install, service and maintain air conditioning and very large food distribution companies. Because the age of most these plants they will start to fall over at an ambient of 28c, even a new plant will get into trouble above 35c. Yes we make money when site break down but we will be over run with calls, engineers will be working 20 hours per day, and tempers will be raised as most the plant rooms will be at 45c. You trying telling someone they going to lose millions of pounds worth of food, and there nothing you can do about it, until the temperature starts to drop. pleased to say we don’t look after supermarkets as these will be struggling and breaking down now.

had them yesterday, nothing copious amounts of boiling hot water couldn't cure ..
Was there Saturday afternoon. Grew up there. Bloody high street (like many others alas) filled with coffee shops and charity outlets.
