Loads of police combing the roads, helicopters above, anyone know what's gone on?

    Would make sense, said disorder on the Welling police twitter. If police combing the roads hope nobody hurt proper.

    From Bexley police on twitter:

    A S.60 has been authorised from 2130hrs 26/7/19 until 0330hrs 27/7/19 for the following wards in #Bexley. Falconwood and Welling / East Wickham / West Heath / Crook Log. This is in response to youth disorder.

    Absolutely no idea what’s going on.
     
    Had a quick gander on the font of all knowledge..... the news shoppers website, absolutely zero.  

    There was was however an interesting article about kebab world in Blackfen, where apparently the roof literally has fallen in.

    1500 youths turned up to a party in St Stephens Hall behind McDonalds. Majority weren’t invited and it kicked off.

    Bexley Police

    Detectives investigating the disturbances at a birthday party in Welling on Friday, 26th July have charged three people.

    [A] A 16-year-old female from Dagenham has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker, racially aggravated common assault and a racially aggravated offence under Section 4a of the Public Order Act.

    [B] A 17-year-old female from Lambeth has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker.

    [C] A 15-year-old male from Lambeth has been charged with a racially aggravated offence under Section 4a of the Public Order Act.

    All three will appear at Bexley Magistrates Court on Friday, 16th August.
