Its been a month since I posted this. My son reluctantly left his apprenticeship on 10th August with only 1 week notice, which they made him work.
He got his head down and applied for a number of jobs still within the Insurance Sector as he enjoyed it.
He has been offered and accepted a junior (salaried) role within a broker company in Kent and is due to start next week. His contract is very clear, training is specified within contract and will continue for 3 years until he received the insurance qualification (can't remember what it is). So, it appears every cloud.....
That'll probably be the Diploma in Insurance or maybe even Advanced Diploma. What us oldie's used to know as the ACII, good luck to him, Theres more good than bad in the industry, sounds like he's landed somewhere decent.
If he is ever in the city and wants a tour around Lloyds let me know.
