Cheers - Surprised they dont just alternate each year
Seems a bit ridiculous that one team could be hosts multiple years if they keep winning their Section and reach the Final
Alternating would be unfair to Barnsley who didn't reach the final last year.
We and Barnsley got home advantage in the semis.
Because we both won our leagues.
Personally i think that as a final it should be played at a neutral venue, or failing that then it should be at the home of the side that got most points during the regular season. A coin toss is a bit silly.

Whatever the outcome of deliberations and/or the coin toss, I think a date, time & venue needs to be announced ASAP for those of us hoping to attend.
If I remember correctly, the details were announced too late for some fans to make the necessary arrangements last year.
These lads deserve as much support as we're able to give them .
If budgetary concerns are a serious issue, this squad & their experience, could be a crucial factor going forward....
We have a 1 night's free accommodation reward voucher from Hotels.com so plan to drive up on Friday, stay overnight in Sheffield where we've been before, and then a 10 mile journey to Barnsley on Sat morning & back home afterwards.
That's the plan anyway ! REALLY want to support the lads.

Wow great dedication right there.
If only I wasn't playing tennis away to Meopham Saturday afternoon ha ha.
Barnsley are busy at the moment, and it might seem an afterthought for many up there, and maybe no biggie for people at Charlton, but I hope there is at least a stream given the kick off time, and somebody makes informing us about this a top priority.

Totally agree, Seth.
At least this thread will give a heads up to anyone interested in the match but the OS should be announcing the details sooner rather than later.
IMO, it's as, if not more important than the Legends game.

I agree - but my father, and boss is sponsoring the Legends game so it's rude of me not to be there really...

No announcement on the OS & the fixture states " Away at Barnsley U 18" - no mention that it's a Cup Final even.
Hoping this is a mistake.
