I’m kind of amazed how quickly we get forward and threaten. Once again we’ve had less of the ball but have had some great chances.

Decent game on the whole. Doesn’t look like two sides you’d expect to be down the bottom.

Charlton have had least shots in the championship (14), but they have scored more goals (5) a success rate of 36%, before today

Typical that our injury is at RB, when we have 500 midfielders!

What do you mean, we still are!
  • Urgh that felt a long 45mins

Referee needs to try and let the game flow, tries to give Barnsley everything whenever they hit the deck!!

Our defence has certainly been impressive today though, dealing with nearly everything thats come into the box. Was probably credit to the Barnsley player that put the ball in yet Purrington is the only one who briefly struggled to deal with a ball, sadly meant that it led to a goal - This definitely isnt the Barnsley team from last season though (they just dont have that sweet passing that they possessed last season, which of course saw them dominate large periods of this fixture back in December) - Really think that there is a chance for us to come away with another three points

Oshilaja appears to be coping at Right-Back okayish whilst our midfield has been pretty quiet in periods (Gallagher has been virtually invisible)

Pratley and Pearce once again the standouts for me, Lockyer having a better game too compared with last week - As already mentioned; Leko is great at times (how he got a cross in at one point when it looked out was impressive) but poor at other times, would consider bringing Aneke on for him around 60-70mins

That was a clear and nasty foul on Taylor. I'm not at all sure he is alright, either, didn't see him "sprinting around " afterwards.

Really? He was busting a gut soon after as Barnsley players were passing it around.

    Millwall down to 10-SCUM
  • Decent game. Both teams fully comitted.

Wilks and Woodrow, so hard to handle. That was some finish, the purrington header didnt clear and straight into the top corner. Class finish.

Pratley has been a monster in defensive duties but misplaced most passes. Rest of midfield are just about giving as good as they get, three really good technical players. Got their rewards as all involved in a good goal

That tackle by Oshilaja was something else.

Remember the old days when the BBC didn't provide a league table until 4 games had been played?
