Thought getting Hemed could be big for us but Kayal is beyond anything I could’ve hoped for. These two together will be massive for us - we keep saying we will surprise a lot of teams but at this point, is it even going to be a surprise any more?
A really good piece from BT. Thanks for posting, @Callumcafc.
They both seem very good characters and professionals and, as well as their footballing ability, they should bring a lot of nous and high level experience to the squad. We've gone from a skeletal squad at Blackburn on 3rd August to a decently stocked one with the additions of Cullen, Leko, Field, Kayal, Oztumer and Hemed. Given our budget, it's beyond all reasonable expectations.
So glad I splashed the cash on us getting promoted at 66/1 before our splendid window But still feel it should have been 660/1 But dare to dream In Bowyer and his team anything is possible Leicester???!!
"On 12 June 2018, an agreement[4] was reached between Greek prime minister Alexis Tsipras and his Macedonian counterpart Zoran Zaev,[5]whereby the name "Republic of North Macedonia" would be adopted.[6][7] A referendum was held in Macedonia on 30 September 2018, with voters overwhelmingly affirming support for EU and NATO membership by accepting the agreement, albeit with 37% voter turnout.[8] After the agreement was ratified by both sides, it entered into force from 12 February 2019."
The place that was The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. They wanted to be just Macedonia but Greece has a claim to that name, too, so objected. Do both Greece and North Macedonia have claim to Macedonia's greatest son, Alexander the Great?

37% turnout. I hope no-one tells vote Remain otherwise they will be saying it wasn't fair & that the majority didn't back it.

Thought Hemed was extremely slow when chasing a ball down the line near the end of Saturday's match. Unfortunately reminded me of Leon Clark's home debut v Brentford in 2011/12.

Hemed looked committed and all action against Brentford. Nothing like Leon Clark.
Had we had a game this Saturday instead of the international break, Kayal would’ve been in the squad so doesn’t make much difference, so long as he comes back injury free we all benefit.
Similar to Hemed, for Israel he would be training far more intensively and playing some part of games. If he wasn’t away with them, he’d probably be having a few days off before coming back to train fully next week. For example, Lapslie has gone away for a few days so the players not involved are having some down time before the hard work begins again.

Both seem really nice lads and they will fit in well.
Really looking forward to seeing all our new signings play. What a window.

We can do this with the talent we acquired this window

Just look at the arguments teams have had with the FA over English players
Guess other associations are even less co-operative
