Is it just an English thing and does anybody bother any more?
I go for a meal with a friend from time and their eating habits take the biscuit, in fact I have found it difficult sitting opposite them.
If it was a bloke I probably wouldn’t have an issue saying something but as it’s a women, she’s not English, I haven’t yet plucked up the courage.
Funnily enough she’s even said, some people have commented about it but she just laughs as if she doesn’t get the hint. Hence why I asked is it just an English thing.
Perhaps I should just avoid going out for a meal with her!
Any suggestions?

It’s supposedly bad manners to eat with one’s mouth open and make a lot of noise while eating?
I have no other friends who do and I’d like to think I don’t either.
Depends on whether you are looking for a shag later.
Try and be subtle and tell her about English etiquette and how strange we are - turn it around to be our fault.
If that doesn't work, just tell her that eating like that in England makes people assume she's available for business.
A couple of months back me and the wife were eating a meal in a pub garden.
A woman and her daughter sat on the table next to us and lit up a fag.
Its outside people can smoke, thier meal came out 20 minutes later.
Now whats that saying its better out than in.
If theres three or more of you in a pub you never ever leave a man stood on his own. If you want a piss or a fag you wait for your other mate to come back from the bar first.
