Who actually runs the FPA? Did anyone ever take over the lovely Bernard? He was good at getting ex player guests along to functions.
Keith Peacock,maybe.
Club Ambassador and Chairman of the Former Players’ Association, Keith Peacock said: “Kevin Lisbie and Jon Fortune have joined the former players’ committee and we’re delighted to have them on board. Kevin has put this team together and it’s going to be great to reignite these matches in aid of charity.”
As chairman of the association, I’m pleased that these players are getting involved and we’ll be hoping to arrange some other games in the coming months against some other London vets teams and help raise some money for some worthwhile causes.”
Sadly can't make this. Great that a new generation of former players are getting involved, the vets teams was very active in the 90s but naturally age will take its toll!
Other than Billy Bonds who will probably be charging around the pitch aged 90!
