Cracking away day that one. Is it me or does the walk through that park get longer every year?
Had little confidence going into this and was unimpressed when I saw the line up. Really should have known better. As tweeted after the game, it’s an absolute pleasure following this group as you know they’ll give 100%.
Fulham are a very good unit and Mitrovic is a stand out player at this level. Loved watching his old Skool scrap with Pearce.
Commitment and performances all over the pitch. So please for Macaulay actually scoring a proper goal, the lad worked his arse off all game. While at the other end, that was probably Dillon’s best game as a pro.
We look like we need a little recharge break. He’s hoping we come back after it with the same drive and mentality. I’m pretty sure we will.

Thought we'd get thumped yesterday, I have to learn to stop doubting this team.
4 points from 3 difficult games with injuries to key players, we're not going to be relegated and this season is a free hit to just enjoy and who knows how far we'll go

Years of following Charlton doesn't half lower your expectations...
Got back to the station to find one of my BLUE trainers is now RED and the bottom of my trousers too. All because of a flare. Went off right by me & must have been on the floor next to my foot.
Well done guys. Hope you're proud of yourselves.
Not going to post about the game. Too fucked off.
Bring me sunshine In your smile Bring me laughter All the while......
I’m not really sure why people are downplaying this. I know the result was a good one in context and both Seth and Chris made great points in their posts, but the goal was purely and simply offside. “Technically” and “Slightly” don’t come into it.
Apologies for coming across as a bit obsessed...
This really annoyed me. He wasn't technically offside, he was offside. I saw he was offside on the first replay. The linesman should have seen it, it was clear.
Good to see Sky having an all-Charlton line up.
That is a major part of the assistant referee's job. It wasn't as if his big toe was off, it was most of his body FFS! It should have been picked up and the fact that it wasn't is extremely poor.
I hate VAR but ….
Would like VAR lite. Just a couple of guys watching on TV and a quick word in the refs ear "offside mate - no goal".
15 seconds MAX to correct simple errors.
No fuss - no breaks in play - just get it right when everybody in the stadium and on TV can see that the officials have missed something!
That's how var should be. They've just made it into an annoying interference when not needed, and do nothing when needed. How they allowed Liverpool that penalty was astonishing.
A huge effort from the boys today! There's no better feeling than scoring a goal in front of our fans - your support was amazing! Enjoy the break and we'll come back even stronger!
I like one of the replies below "i thought it was Charlton TV". I must admit i did wonder why they had both pundits (Taylor and Powell) with Charlton connections, surely they should have 1 from each club?
Not to mention Minto is ex-Charlton. Then they interview Bowyer for about 5 minutes pitchside, whilst Parker gets a couple of minutes in the tunnel.
Great coverage for us, but if you were a Fulham fan you'd be a bit pissed off.
Bit unfair that they fixed it for Fulham's manager to be ex-Charlton too.
Until Sir Chris became regularly available, we have had years and years of no Addicks representation on these panels, not Fulham's fault, but about 0.5% has been clawed back.
Something or someone high up at Sky has definitely changed...
Not really Algarve, the TV cameras always focus on the bigger club. Just like we can't get a look in whenever we play the Top Six. Fulham fans will understand that given their limited support and history. Supporters of the big clubs like ours need to be gracious but accept that we will always steal the limelight from the minnows.....
Luck would be a freak wind blowing the ball out of play every time they kicked it. What we saw was hard work and doing just enough to put thethemn off enough to hit the bar etc.

Palace scum
It's all very well joking about this but Golfie has spent the last 3 years having eye operations and generally had lots of sight problems. You won't be laughing when one away match someone gets blinded. It could be you or your brother. Whoever is doing these flares is more scum than Palace and Millwall combined.
Same happened to me as to Golfie at Portsmouth last year. Am sure it is great fun for those setting off smoke bombs and rolling them away from themselves. Not as much fun for those who suddenly find it right next to them on the floor, leaving colour dye on their shoes and clothes. Wait until it happens to you and see if you are laughing!
I "received" a smoke bomb at Millwall a few seasons back. I picked it up and lobbed it on the pitch.
That goal is a perfect passage from five different individuals. Could have taken it straight off of the training ground.
-Bonne wins his header against their CB. He knows where the runner is and finds him. -Gallagher is positioned and ready for the flick on. He lays it off out wide and makes a run into the box. -The advancing wing back in JFC pings the ball on a sixpence to the back post. -Don’t miss the overlapping run from Williams that forces the Fulham full back to drop instead of pressuring the cross. -Solly knows where the ball is going and is already there. He intelligently cushions it into a dangerous area. - Gallagher has made the perfect run and smashes it first time leaving the keeper helpless.
First time I’ve ever sat in the wrong end for a Charlton game, it’s absolute hell! But I’m so glad I went, what a performance that was! Incredibly hard not to swear at the linesman for the offside when surrounded by Fulham fans! 4 points from 9 out of those 3 games is some effort!

All the while......
In which case Referees wont give a foul
PS is there a button up version?
Up there with Pompey away (1-0 win) for atmosphere & enjoyment. Agree with AFKA about the walk through the park too.
JFC played brilliantly seeing as he hasnt had much game time & was out of position.
Phillips MOTM.....but only just pipping the while defence.
Fulham the best team we've played this season.....their crossing was so dangerous & imo they will be in the top 2 at the end of the season.
We wont get relegated but wont also be top 6 (sadly). Just enjoy the ride.
Unreal effort from all the lads today in a hard battle , and crazy support from the fans that kept us going till the end @Dillon_Phillips #CAFC

Unbelievable support again yesterday #CAFC
It's not, it's giving 100% until the final whistle.
