2019/20 CL Prediction League Week 9 Results

It's time to give some advice to those predictors who can't stop themselves picking the Millwall and Palace games. The idea of the Prediction League is not to choose the scoreline you want, but to pick the scoreline that the game will actually be. I thought I would give this advice as all 34 competitors who chose the Palace game got the wrong result and all 50 competitors that chose the Millwall fixture got the wrong result as well. In truth, it was a tough week as several seemingly obvious results turned out to be surprise results. To make it worse, some of the more predictable games had unlikely scorelines. Therefore, the 5 points scored by @Dippenhall and @ThreadKiller were highly commendable efforts pushing them towards the top of the tables. But, it's @mrbligh who leaps to the top of the Premiership with a solid 4 points. Congratulations to @Karim_myBagheri, @Dippenhall and @creepyaddick who stared into their crystal balls and predicted a 2-2 draw for Charlton at Fulham.

    Just a reminder to those struggling in the lower reaches (like me) - it's time to sharpen up your predicting as the Prediction Cup that starts in January and only admits the top 128. This means being in the top 12 of the National South or higher. It's your just to take on the big guns.....
