  • Upper tier of the stand that is on your left as you look out at the pitch from the away end. Well that's where all their pubeless, hard nut wannabe fans are.

Any idea which block the real hardcore, knuckle dragging, toothless, flat-cap wearing brigade hang out? Might look to get some tickets there.

Either that or an executive box. Do they have them at the toolbox?

    Yep.
    You are correct
    2 thousand bellends

My sincerest apologies to any wombats reading this.

  • When I had to go into the event area at the New Den to organise an Office event, I understood what a vampire feels like trying to go into a church. With their tacky logo on the carpets I new I had to find somewhere better for the event. Which was thankfully very easy.

Is that some of your infallible insider info?

I'll square with you. After all the flannel about boycotting, and the not a penny more brigade, I'm surprised there's so much interest.

I thought principles and personal policies would have trumped results. Seems most fans are fickle and you shouldn't take many people's words as being representative of their strength of character.

As an aside, can you get me a ticket?
I’m afraid millwalls hope that our decline was terminal has been unfounded - admittedly there have been a fair few drama queens on here that thought the same - if you clear your tourists, day trippers and manbag and flip flop brigade out, you could keep the home end for yourselves and just give us the other 3 stands
Tourists and day trippers? They made up most of your crowd during your prem years. Now they’ve gone you’re back to being an average sized club at best. Not that we care how big outsiders perceive our club to be (we actually prefer being the underdog ), you lot seem obsessed with it. strange.
I think a millwall fan who continues to post on a Charlton site is the one who is obsessed.
Try to stick just the Millwall related threads these days (and the occasional music one) because as I’ve said before, some of the best analysis of my club is found on CL.
Probably due to 95% of your lot cannot read and write.

This sale will end in many tears.

  • What’s the big deal about them being 29 quid? That can’t be far off the going rate for championship football, cat A game? I just bought mine,  east lower, 29 quid
Only there to see the Charlton...😉
  • Hi I'm Big Bad World  :D
I'm really relaxed about Millwall getting slagged off and it's just a coincidence that I'm forever popping up on another team's forum whenever we get mentioned.  :*
I'll hide my sensitivity behind a superior tone and generous use of emojis  :p

That just reminded me of when my dad and I turned up for a night game against them once years ago, early 80s I guess. Hi Uboat, you seem rather bothered and put out that I don't bite when poor banter is thrown my way. You don't seem to get that it's par for the course for me/us. So much so that, yes, I am unfazed by it all and choose to have a laugh with it rather than getting all upset like you have.

Wipe away those tears, lock up that anger and stop taking life so seriously.

Your sensitivity is your weakness, and you've put it out there for everyone to see by trying to mirror it on to me.

Lastly, I don't just pop up when we get mentioned. I'm here more than that, and I'm okay with it. You, on the other hand, outwardly project that it's an issue. The real question is, who is it an issue for? I think you've done a splendid job of taking the spotlight on this one ;)

Now that I've wiped away all those tears and calmed down from my furious rage I'll just suggest to you that trying to adopt a superior tone the entire time just comes across as over-compensating for your obvious inferiority complex. Try to relax and be yourself and you'll have a better experience.

Christ, I didn't even get to sit on your couch for that one.

Your concern, although misguided, is appreciated.

I now understand that you can't comprehend someone rolling with the punches that banter between fans brings. Over my many years of experience I've found that the best way to deal with banter (and your musings) is to banter back and not look for things that will just make you angry, upset and liable to respond in an angry and compulsive manner. Not everyone is fortunate to find that zen in their lives so I get that its alien to you. It's not your fault.

I'm obsessed by your massiveness. I defy anyone to not be in absolute awe at just what a giant of a football club you are. That alone makes it all the more surprising that the main man and football insider extraordinaire, Doucher, chose to point out what a failure of a club we are considering our record against the footballing behemoth that is CAFC.

We know our place in the footballing pyramid, don't worry about that ;)

No identity crisis at Charlton bbw - our natural home is the championship, yours is league 1

Any idea which block the real hardcore, knuckle dragging, toothless, flat-cap wearing brigade hang out? Might look to get some tickets there.

    Male or female ones?
That just reminded me of when my dad and I turned up for a night game against them once years ago, early 80s I guess. It was only after they moved I realised the one I’d kicked was a female with cropped hair - that wasn’t as common as it later became, obviously attracting trend setters down at the Den in those days. Tbh, i was a bit embarrassed when I realised it was a girl.

I was glad my Dad didn’t realise at the time  it was girl, he would have given me loads of grief about it and probably would have wanted me to apologise. She may even still goes to your games. Any down there these days that look like they might have been a shaven head minger in bovver boots that looked like a bloke in their younger days ?
