I thought The Enemy had split. Have they reformed then?

They are, can't get my head around how good their first 2 albums were.

At the hop farm festival 2009 the line up that Weller headlined (with fucken Roger Daltrey just wandering out to join him for a song) included The Twang, Doves, Editors and Ladyhawke

Seen some pretty good acts at that event while it was still running Dylan, Prince, Ray Davies among them

I'm seeing Editors Friday 28th February at Wembley Arena.
It's in conjunction with the release of their Black Gold (Greatest Hits) album.
I think they're brilliant live & tickets are possibly still on sale.
I've seen them a few times. most recently at Brixton within the last 12 months.

White Lies are also playing one of the O2 venues either Brixton or Forum, tickets are on sale.

The Pigeon Detectives first album was great. I haven't heard anything since then though. Have they done anything any good?

I wouldn't know. I just recall someone recently saying they were a huge fan and wanted to see them.

Nope just listened to a podcast with Tom Clarke on chatting about what he and the other 2 are up to since they split

One of a long list of bands that ultimately were pretty pish. Great fun to be growing up in those times though.

Second album was good but hard to match the standard of their first.

So it was. Underated musical acts thread!
Your favourite band, but couldn't find a gig to see them.

Listened to a playlist the other day on bbc sounds (give them a listen, my brother makes them) and ‘take her back’ came on and i felt like skipping to work in a 00’s reminiscent daze. Loved that song. Then spent the rest of the afternoon at work on Spotify (sorry Jon) making my own playlists of 00’s songs to go running to.
