Absolutely love Bowyer. He certainly is still learning his trade, and I often think he makes mistakes, but he worked miracles to keep us competitive last year with all the injuries.
Finally looks like he is starting to get some of his old mojo back and that's filtering into some of the football we are playing. Being a little braver and moving the ball a lot quicker than we have been doing.
Said to my pal earlier, you have Lampard managing in the Prem. Bowyer has got twice the management CV that man has. He's very special, so glad he stuck it out. Hero.
If sandgaard hadn’t of came on and financed these new players i dont think we would be doing so well. Glad Lee stayed on though after ehat he has been been through.

I love Bowyer, and would rather have him then Lampard - but he simply does not.
They have both managed around 130 games, with Frank having about around half of those in the Championship and the other half in the Premiership.
Could Lee manage in the Premiership? I think he will, whether that's with Charlton or someone else. But at the moment Frank had the 'better' CV both as a player and manager.
This could be one of my favourite seasons ever if we get promoted.
It wont beat Powell's 2011/12 year (even if we were to get more points) as I missed just three League games and none of the Cup ones, its the one season I've done that, I regret missing those three games (even though it was impossible for me to attend any of them) but it was one of those years where of course there was no guarantee that we'd do anything so to combine seeing so many games and winning the title the way we did will always make it that extra bit special for me
But the way this team has been put together, the pre-season takeover with all the shit and uncertainty, its making performances like today that little bit more special in its own right
He is fantastic and now we finally have a proper Chairman, I’m so bullish about this club right now if we can be in the top 6 come January, people will be very keen to join us.
Strengthen again and get over the line.
Medium term, Boyer and Gallen have the knowledge to our together a very capable squad to comfortable live in the championship, Bowyer with money is frightening for the Championship imho.
I see this takeover and with the structure and set up building behind the scenes as pivotal, potentially as positive as us getting back to the valley and we all saw what happened after that.
The fake takeover was like an alcoholic hitting rock bottom, it’s all up from here.

As a manager what’s Frank achieved over Bow?
Took Derby to the Championship play off final in his first season and in his second season with Chelsea, Runners up in the FA Cup final and 4th in Premiership getting a coveted Champions League spot . His highlight so far was giving Ian Maatsen his debut in the EFL Cup with Chelsea winning 7-1 and then sending him on loan to Charlton

Great assessment Mr Fish. Unfortunately by the time we had the mini League, we were bereft of players and because of the two early wins and the draw against Cardiff we became negative and this played a part in only taking 2 points from the last 18 on offer.
The reason Lee Bowyer lost his Mojo was the complete mess off the pitch which wore him down and the injuries, bad window and his main striker going AWOL.
With Thomas Sandgaard as Owner, Lee have found his pro active stance on football and I knew he had regained his Mojo when he put two attackers in Smyth and Aneke on for Williams and Bogle against Pompey.
Long may the Bowyer and Sandgaard partnership last aided by JJ and the miracle worker Steve Gallen.
Wouldn't it be great if, for the 1st time in his career, he knew what divison we would be in next season a month or so before the season finished.
Hopefully next summer will be the last time Bowyer and Gallen have to totally rebuild a squad in one window but getting some contract extensions done in April or May would make a world of difference.
One of these men has managed in League 1 and the championship through transfer embargos and limited budgets, the other managed Derby and after failing, was gifted a top 6 PL club job... Their CVs may lean in favour of Frank, but Lee's experience is better.
I am starting to think we win this league going away. I am also starting to think that our management team will be very difficult to keep if I’m right. From where we were a few months back, to now be 3 points off top with a game in hand is remarkable. You can’t turn the tv on these days without seeing one of our ex players elsewhere, or ex academy products in the Premiership. This remarkable owner and this incredible manager are on the up. Just can’t wait to get back. COYR
Don't want Lee Bowyer compared to Anyone. The learning curve with the off-field problems and politics plus so many injuries will stand Lee in good stead under a decent owner of the football club in Thomas Sandgaard.
Lampard and Gerrard who had fantastic careers and who have been fast tracked to top jobs( Scottish football is mediocre but Rangers are a big club)
I like Lampard, despite detesting Abramovich (his money came from a Russian state company being sold for a 20th of its true price on an interest free loan) and Chelsea.
