I do wonder how much Bowyer rates Oztumer. He rarely, if ever, brings him on as a sub, and there are a few games I thought he would surely start and he has not.
I do wonder if its because of the defensive side of his game. He certainly looks great on the ball and can play in spaces our other players cant, but be to me he does not look like he has the fitness and physicality Bowyer demands off his players.
I would rather see him come off the bench then Chuks at the moment as do believe he is one of those players who can create something out of nothing.
The bloke who said this is a genius. Bowyer just said Kayal is in because of his physicality.
Welcome to the House of Fun
Lord Bowyer's injury-ravaged side has come of age in recent weeks.
Next week is a trip to the Lions' Den
and the temptation is to look ahead to that but His Lordship will be very much focused on this match.
Welcome Wembley hero BFG!
The sun is (almost) out, the sky is blue(ish)
We'll keep a clean sheet, and score two!
Come on you rip-roaring, goal-scoring, relegation-avoiding, promotion-chasing(?) Addicks!
What idiot miked up the bugle? It's meant to sound natural, distant, elegiac. This was like a sledgehammer to the ears. No space to contemplate. The crying children it inevitably caused were a much more fitting soundtrack to one's thoughts of war and sacrifice
