Royal Dutch Military Police investigating a situation on board a plane.  Hope this isn't serious incident.

Appears to be a hijacking.  Although not sure how well reports can be trusted to be completely accurate yet.

It appears that this has been classified as a GRIP 3 situation, which translates as either a disaster or impending disaster, with a large area affected.

Seems that three people, armed with knives boarded an Air Europa flight due to depart Schiphol.  A member of crew activated the hijack notification protocol.

Fantastic airport is Schiphol.   Great shops, bars and restaurants as well as superb transport links to all over The Netherlands.   One of my favourite airports.
