Deal done, just announced for £6.5 million (broken down into £4 million and an unnamed player)

2 quick observations...

1) if he's worth that amount of money the world has well and truly gone absolutely bonkers

2) what's the betting that unnamed player is wantaway striker (and supposed cafc target) collins john?

might be 2 losses in 2 days if we really were after earnshaw.

    ifkamara has gone for that money then the Bent deal doesn't sound too inflated.

    With us, Norwich and West Brom all receiving decent fees, the money should start trickling round the system and through the lower leagues.

    I think this is going to be the most active transfer summer in England for many a year.
