Refund for food and drink @ halftime

Absolute joke today. Was overcharged by £4.80 for half pint and burger (debit card). They spent 10mins on the radio with a supervisor. Assured me I'd be refunded, but couldn't offer me a receipt for the original transaction or the refund. They just got me to scribble down my name and email address on a scrap piece of paper and told me they'd be in touch to ensure the refund goes through. If it doesn't there is nothing I can do about it... Anyone else has any issues?
