  • Pratley was suspended for the Cardiff game - so shouldn't he be showing as 5 yellows?

yes, thanks - I'll correct it after the Luton game
  • Last time we had an assister bottom and a scorer second bottom. This time Leko's managed to do both and still finish bottom!
  • Leko gets the assist and never knew anything about it.

    All Bonne's work really.

Yes, a complete mishit by Leko!

Worth highlighting Morgan. 2 shots from distance, both decent ones on target, on another day one of them gets a deflection into the net.
  • Weren't they both within a minute or two of coming on?
  • Looking at our next 5 games even though we have got so many injuries, surely we got to be looking at 3 wins at least

Morgan's shots were both from distance ..... the first was comfortably straight at the keeper.
But he did work the keeper for the 2nd.

They were decent efforts but neither really looked like beating the keeper, although maybe Morgan needed to close the distance before shooting?

Bowyer apparently doesn't normally encourage shooting from distance, as the odds are stacked against scoring.
That's why he likes players to drive into the box and pass .... reckoning that it's a bigger target and more chance of scoring.

  • Surely the assist for the first should go to Bonne rather than Leko?!

I would like to agree but if Bonne's centre had not "bounced" off Leko it might not have rolled to Gallagher for his shot, so Leko it is

  • Agree with Lancs ..... it's Bonne's assist really as he created the chance - but somehow Leko had the last contact before Gallagher scored. Technically has to be Leko's assist.

  • Who's this Marshall chap with 1 booking?

You don't want to shoot from ridiculous distances, but if you don't shoot it's very hard to score! You  might get a lucky deflection (e.g. de Bruyne for City against Chelsea) or you might get a corner

Can someone refresh my memory on his booking, was it when Bowyer was in the stands and he told the bench to throw a few Fs into the ref 😮.
