Just been past it - the outside is looking very plush, promising wi-fi access as well! Not quite sure if they realise what the clientele's like in there!

    I haven't been in there for years. Probably not since the Waterman's Arms was still standing opposite it!

    I heard the guy who's bought it knows nothing about pubs, but we'll see.

    i wonder if he has his sunday lunch in the Pilot!? bet he does.

    Actually, the Pilot's looking good these days too.

    It's a Fullers boozer now, full of Charlton memorabilia and looks decent in there. And doesn't have a badly-tuned Heart 106.2 playing over its speakers.
