Charlton=St Etienne

442 are comparing teams to bands this month and fantastically enough we are being compared to St Etienne.

Bit mad considering one of the guys in the band is a Charlton fan.

West Ham are chas and dave and liverpool are hasselhoff.

    jimmymelrose will be pleased. Not only does he like the band but he lives in Lyon and their great rivals are St Etienne so being awkward he supports them instead.

    this is a bit of a myth - AFAIK neither Pete Wiggs nor Bob Stanley are Addicks, maybe Sarah Cracknell is!

    Fantastic band though!

    Out of interest why did they say we are like St Etienne - because we're limp, non-descript and inoffensive?
