Always a poignant day for me as 5 December is also my late grandmother's birthday.
She took me to to The Valley when I was a small boy as much as anybody so is instrumental in my following Charlton Athletic for nearly 57 years and counting hopefully.6 -

I was in the Chelsea end for this, had free tickets through work.Sat with the COO and his wife and had a few beers but bumped into a Chelsea mate at half time who treated me to a "livener" in trap 1.
Got back to my seat in the second half and it was a nightmare trying to keep myself from spouting b*ll*cks.
When we scored I had to grip hold of the seat to stop myself jumping up.
