Never let it be said that
@thai malaysia addick doesn't have a decent amount of Christmas spirit. You know what happens with this Prediction League. You can see a game where you are absolutely certain what the score will be and then you find that it's not in the list of predictions for that week. To make it worse, the prediction you weren't able to make comes up trumps as Liverpool win 2-0, but you are denied the three points you feel you deserve as the alternative prediction you made falls flat when Wigan Athletic let in a late goal at Hull or something equally trivial.
For this Christmas week, every game is on the 'coupon'. You can choose any game you like. And, what's more, if you want the Liverpool game, that's even on the coupon too as it is this week's guest game. So, predict away. There really are no excuses and I'll be expecting lots of high scores this week. Just pick any three as usual.
Also, it's worth noting that this is the last week for qualification for the much-heralded CL Prediction Knock Out Cup. The top 128 League competitors on Christmas Day are automatically entered into the draw that will take place on New Year's Eve. This means everyone down to 12th in the National League South will be entered. In the event of a tie on points for the last places, alphabetical order will not be used (as in the League tables), but there will be a countback on the highest most recent score working backwards week by week. For those new to the Prediction Knock Out Cup, the competition is based on each competitor being drawn against another - the winner goes through to the next round and the loser doesn't. If there's a draw, there's a replay the following week. Those losing in the first round, get a second chance by being entered into the Johnstones Paint Prediction Cup (far less glory though, of course). The full rules will follow over the Christmas period. Good luck with this week and be grateful to Santa for bringing you all the fixtures to choose from.
