To be honest, they're not that much worse than the huge set The Sun issued in all seriousness in 1978/79. The artist there had the same time/quality decision to make, and time was the only winner.4 -
That Hales one is genius. It looks like the artist has made him look too much like Robert Powell, then the editor saw it and thought, fuck that let's give him some more hair so he looks like Doyle out of the Professionals. It doesn't matter if its a completely different colour.
