TV Camera pit at QPR.....an accident waiting to happen!

Just watching the game V Leeds.
Hadn’t noticed it before but they have a pit about 6ft X 4ft square behind the goal line and the stand wall for pitch side TV cameras.......it can only be about 5ft back from the goal line about 20ft from the right hand goal post as you look at the goal.
A Leeds player has just ended up in it........very very fortunate not to have injured himself or the Sky cameraman!
Into the bargain, the top rim of said pit would appear to have a steel angle iron surround, WTF!
I can’t believe it’s acceptable.

Wasn't QPR where Leko got injured?

He was off the pitch and limped back on I believe. Not sure if relevant or not.

Nah definitely didnt fall off the pitch, was already hobbling as he left the playing area

It's already happened with justin hoilett a few years ago. Over stretched to put a cross in and ended up down the pit. It's a top notch bit of footage.

That was his own fault, you can clearly see he wasn`t looking where he was going!
