The idea of it is they will get 50,000 people all to pay £35 pounds each, and with the money raised they will buy an English football team. All 50,000 owners will then vote each week on tactics and team selections. There will be a first team coach who does training and gives his suggestions for what team to pick, but the most popular formation and line-up from voting is what gets chosen. Its like real-life fantasy football!!
Leeds are the most popular team for take-over at the moment but they're very unlikely to manage that one. I guess they'll get a conference or League Two side in the end. Not sure what I'd make of it if I was a supporter of the team taken over by this.
Apparently they have already passed the half-way stage in recruiting members!
