  • Massive 50 minutes here. Ireland need to win by six points. France need to smash 'em by 32 and get a bonus point. England still most likely winners but this is gonna be exciting.

Don’t they need to win by 7? Don’t mean to be pedantic, just think at 13-14 a converted try would still leave Ireland one short?

No - they've got a try now, so a tie on points differential means it goes to tries scored, and Ireland have scored 15 to England's 14.

You probably read it right earlier as pre game they needed to win by 7 if they didn't score a try.

But because they got the try as paddy says they are now above England on tries scored so just need to win by 6

No I thought it was 7 regardless.

Nope 7 because we had the bonus point, now it's 6.
  • Won't matter if things keep going as they are.
  • C'mon Ireland, make this a bit livelier...

    Henshaw did well there.
  • It’s England’s title
  • Cream always rises to the top.
  • Poor line outs from Ireland when in France’s 22 and Stockdale was shocking.
  • Pleased with that cmon England 🏈🤙
  • Christ, I didn’t even know it was on!

    Any highlights anywhere?
  • Surely the last round of matches should have been played at the same time. Didn't matter in the end, but surely a massive advantage to Ireland knowing what they needed to do to win.
  • Jesus we were shite second half!

    Well done England.

When there are so few games in the championship tv will want all games shown live. Always been this way with this tournament

Luck of the draw. That's how the competition works
  • Best team won.
  • Shame we lost to France in the 1st match of the Championship, but nice to win it and onwards to the autumn schedule of games starting in 2 weeks 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🥀

Both Wales and Ireland have new coaches after a long time with the previous incumbents, both sides form has suffered as a result.
England? .. not at all convincing despite a big score in Rome. A very experienced side looks like it needs a lot of new blood. Incessant kicking in the first half made for a boring and wasteful performance even given some rustiness due to the long break.
Jones needs to make changes and experiment during the autumn tournament as this team has reached its collective sell-by date especially in the front row, at half back and in the centre

Slade as a centre is world class, defo a starter for the Lions as well, Jamie George is one of the best Hookers in the world, agree re half back George Ford but Farrell plays there for his club, all those 3 have another World Cup in them @ Lincsaddick ????
