My iPhone thinks I’m not in the UK so I can’t download apps at the moment.

What do I do to get it set for the UK?

Log out and sign in again with your Apple ID, should reset it.

Go to your network provider shop and swap it for an android...

OR 

Turn it off and on again and make sure the in-built VPN isn't switched on..

If you're connected to Wi-fi then the IP address assigned will probably depend on your provider.  I'm with BT and I think their service is provided out of Dublin...

Check the find my iphone app and see where it says you are. 

Log out of apple ID turn off VPN and log back in again
