A man arrested on suspicion of the murder and indecent assault of Stuart Lubbock at the home of entertainer Michael Barrymore has been released without charge.
Mr Lubbock, 31, was found unconscious in the TV presenter's pool in Roydon, Essex, in March 2001 following a party.
Essex Police said there was "insufficient evidence" to charge the unnamed suspect, who is 50.
Sadly I think it'll prove impossible to secure a conviction against anyone now, given the time elapsed and the mistakes made at the time by the police meaning evidence has likely been lost forever.

Stuart Lubbock's dad has terminal cancer so I hope it give him comfort after all this time that his son's killer or killers are brought to justice.
Whether Mr Lubbock senior lives to see the verdict is problematical but at least it may give him some peace.
