    Faustino Asprilla
Loved watching Asprilla play - looked like his legs were made out of rubber.

Grzegorz Rasiak.  Quite possibly the worst player I've seen at Spurs over the years.  Looked uncomfortable and totally out of his depth as soon as he pulled on a Spurs shirt and his career nosedived.

Andy Booth, a close second.  Brought to Spurs on loan from Sheffield Wed by David Pleat back in the late 90s when Sheringham got injured (before he went Utd).  Vaguely remember sitting through the most sterile 0-0 with Charlton at WHL.

EDIT: having looked it up, he played 4 games for Spurs in 2001!
It was George Graham who loaned Booth into Spurs.

He actually played against us in a 0-0 draw at WHL.
Yes Graham was manager but I'm fairly sure it was Pleats decision as Director of Fooball.  Funnily, Graham was sacked about 6 weeks later for complaining about transfer strategy and lack of funds in mid March, ENIC stating breach of contract after they bought the club in the February.

The line ups for a blast from the past...

Tottenham: Sullivan, Campbell, Perry, Freund, Anderton, Leonhardsen, Clemence, King, Rebrov, Doherty, Booth. Subs: Walker, Sherwood, Korsten, Young, Etherington.

Charlton: Ilic, Rufus, Brown, Todd, Powell, Kishishev, Parker, Jensen, Stuart, Svensson, Bartlett. Subs: Tiler, Newton, Salako, Lisbie, Caig.

    Referee: D Elleray (Harrow-on-the-Hill)

Had to look up Tony Caig because I couldn't remember him playing for us. Mind you his only appearance was coming on at half time for Dean Kiely against Derby in January 2001
  • Simon church
Didnt need to have defenders tackle him
Used to tackle himself and fall over
  • Madden and Milne take some beating and
Mark Stuart ran with pigeon steps.
Ralph Milne on his home debut ran out and immediately started coughing and was doubled up. He had only been playing in European games in Scotland and wasn't quite match fit. Nothing changes at Cafc !

    Don't knock it.

Falling over for no good reason is a key skill in football today!

That would make sense since Pleat would have had Booth at Wednesday in his best years.

Not to say that GG was not a fan of the bartering ram centre forward though!
  • There is so much competition for this in the last 10 years we could create an entire squad and reserve team from inept awkward player. Noubles mooneys Lleras.

    But no1 - THURAM
