It makes you realise that via every football fans favourite analysis - ‘on paper’ - it’s not like solid mid table champ teams have line ups that look outstanding in comparison
Strong team, strong bench. Like it. Doesn’t matter so much if you have one or two of the likes of Pratley and Williams unavailable, when you have strength in depth available like we currently do.
Pleased to see Bows hasn’t tinkered too much either, we looked good the other night and there were signs of some partnerships beginning to be formed - stability of team selection isn’t a luxury we’ve had much this season.
Tropical Philippines island. A few beers on board. I’ll try not to be too flippant on the match thread but it’s getting late here
What?? You chose that instead of a seat at Charlton on a stormy day?? You amaze me.
I love living in a village 3 miles from Tunbridge Wells but today was a pleasant 30 degrees (centigrade not Fahrenheit!), a gentle breeze and sunny. I gather there’s a bit of cloud due tomorrow for an hour or so but I can probably find a beach massage until it passes.
All 5 teams below us in the table are playing tough away games today. Another win would be massive for us
I'm ok if Luton & Stoke win as long as we do ... puts us above QPR & M'boro
If we keep winning it doesn’t matter what others do. No point counting any chickens re others’ results, there are ‘shock’ results every week in this division. Key thing is we get the points on the board at some point before the end of the season. Today is no bigger than any other in that respect.
