As the first results came in over the weekend, it soon looked like a low-scoring week. On Friday night, the 0-0 draw between Wolves and Leicester floored many but no one imagined that Hull and Swansea had enough oomph in them to share eight goals. The early kicks off on Saturday meant things went from bad to worse as Burnley went to Southampton and won while Notts Forest having been beaten by a lowly team at home in the week bounced back to draw at table-topping West Brom. The rest of the weekend proved difficult with only 18 correct predictions between everyone and eight of those coming from Leeds' rather functional 1-0 win over Bristol City. Of course, a team from Lancashire doubly spoilt the day of Charlton supporters that chose this game to predict. To make it worse, Millwall did what they seem to do each week and let predictors down by winning at Preston. The guest fixture between Oxford and Sunderland became more of a safe haven for those who went to the bottom of the coupon. The result of all this is, to re-write Mr Corbyn's message, that this week was a good week for the few not the many.
However, in all this mayhem, a few competitors deserve special mention.
@robroy was able to see through all this murkiness and ended his streak of scores of 1 or less by being only one of two predictors who expected MU to win at Chelsea. Meanwhile,

@Nicholas were able to collect an admirable 6 points.
