  • Phillips: 6.5
Matthews: 6.5 One great run and another decent performance.
Oshilaja: 6 Won a lot in the air, but isn't a ball player. Nearly set up an equaliser.
    Pearce: 5 Not his day
Doughty: 5 Better left mid or on the wing
Cullen: 6 Hasn't shone of late
Lapslie: 5.5 Better coming on when the other team are tiring.
Oztumer: 5.5 Not nearly as bad as some have said. Needs protection though.
McGeary: 5 Isn't sharp enough. Behind the pace of the game. He might improve though?
    Green: 5
    Taylor: 6
Williams: 7 He runs at them and they back off. Big match from him v. Middlesbrough.
    Bonne: 5
    Referee: 5

Phillips: 6 ( + Made good saves again - poor distribution)

Matthews: 6.5 (+ Best defender in possession and wins his battles - couldn't stop Karlan cutting inside)

Oshilaja: 5 ( + won his aerial battles - awful in possession and makes lots of poor decisions)

Pearce: 5 ( + made some good blocks - slow individual errors)

Doughty: 5.5 ( + pace hard to beat - 60% pass completion no end product)

Cullen: 6 ( + wins and retains possession - can't dictate tempo due to lack of support)

Lapslie: 5.5 (+ made some tackles - game passed him by not one shot, dribble, key pass)

    Oztumer: 5 ( + can't think of any - not Williams)

McGeady: 5.5 ( + made some key passes - holds onto the ball too long, out of position)

Green: 5.5 ( + look a threat on the counter - played about 10 passes lost the ball a lot)

Taylor: 6.5 ( + didn't give the ball away linked up play when attacking - zero support and service)

Williams: 6 ( + game changer having a midfielder who receives on the diagonal and runs at players, plays forward passes and makes good runs.)

Bonne: 5.5 ( + intent was there - again zero support and service)

Referee: 6.5 (Let a lot go opposite to the one at Wednesday, Williams got fouled 7 times before a booking was shown.)
    Were you at the game?????

    Were you at the game?????

    Sadly Yes. 😊
  • Phillips: 6 - a couple of decent saves and could do nothing about the goals
Matthews: 7: MoM - a stylish player who is continuing to improve
Oshilaja: 4 - a dreadful error for the first goal and very uneven throughout
Pearce: 5.5 - made some decent blocks
Doughty: 4.5 - not a full back and unwise to play him in a back four. A fine young player but he is regressing and needs a rest
Cullen: 6 - lacking support in midfield and has struggled to recapture his early season form
Lapslie: 5 - bears some responsibility for the first goal and unable to cope with Huddersfield's midfield dominance
Oztumer: 5 - unable to make an impact
McGeady: 4 - looks unfit and very rusty. Caught in possession several times whilst dawdling on the ball
Green: 4 - very poor and lacking in confidence. He does not have the experience and physicality to play as a central striker
Taylor: 5 - a frustrating afternoon with next to no service
Williams: 6.5 - made some decent runs when he came on and won his customary clutch of free kicks, some of them in dangerous positions. If only our set plays weren't so poor, maybe we could make something of them
Bonne: 5 - no service and unable to get in the game
    Referee: 6 - ok
