Avoid attempting to drive in Bromley South area indefinitely until burst water main fixed

Masons Hill is closed southbound at junction of Westmoreland Road, traffic heading down the High Street is diverted up Westmoreland Road.
It is taking up to 1 hour to travel 200 yards and has been since at least Friday.
I've no idea when it will be fixed.

Drove down Holmesdale Road (Bromley) instead. No problems.

@clb74 talking of membership lists, make sure you're on the BA list.

You should have got an email as we weed out the riff raff

Looks like the “let’s fuck people’s days up” baton has been safely passed across from the burst water main at New Eltham then, which seems to be nearly fixed (although Southwood Rd is still closed in both directions).

Come on Southeastern, just the four minutes late this morning? Slackers!

    Who knows ?
    It's still grid locked today.
Tell me where you're going and I'll let you know what's best.

Coming via Widmore Road and parking in the Glades Thursday lunchtime. Thanks Steve.

Hope it's fixed by Saturday. I have no choice but to catch the 320 bus - my missus who has remained in Biggin Hill while I am back here has had a nightmare with it this week - it's going to be hard enough to get to The Valley without that problem too.

You shouldn't have a problem in that case.
It's Elmfield Road, Bromley High Street (and Westmoreland Road coming into town), that is semi permanently at a stand still.

    Hi mate.
If you are going to the valley Saturday what with Charlton station being closed your best options are.

Either get a train to London bridge.
Then jubilee line to North Greenwich.
    Plenty of buses to Charlton.

Alternatively the 51 bus from orpington takes about 50 minutes to Woolwich.
Again plenty of buses to Charlton.

This appears to be all completed and back to normal.
I say that from looking online, I've not personally checked.
